Dr. Paul Bonham and Dr. Aurelia Bonham bring over 20 years of experience and advanced orthodontic training to patients in Kahului. Both are certified specialists in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, and both are Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Paul Bonham earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Master of Science in Orthodontics, and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Oklahoma. He has practiced for more than 30 years, published in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, and stays active in professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
Dr. Aurelia Bonham earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry before completing her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma. She was an Adjunct faculty member in the orthodontic residency program at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (AT Still University). She also holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Truman State University and continues to pursue advanced education in orthodontics.

Kahului Invisalign
Invisalign is a popular choice for teens and adults who want a more subtle way to straighten their teeth. Instead of brackets and wires, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move your teeth step by step. Drs. Bonham are the most experienced Invisalign doctors on Maui and across the entire state of Hawaii.
Each set of aligners is custom-made to fit closely over your teeth and should be worn 20 to 22 hours a day to keep treatment moving. Dr. Paul Bonham or Dr. Aurelia Bonham will let you know when to switch to the next set in the series.
